Ve lo ricordate il prof Rogoff quello del libro: ‘This Time is Different: Eight Centuries of
Financial Folly? la conclusione del libro fu che i governi che accumulano troppi debiti sono destinati a saltare.
TUTTAVIA IN UN ARTICOLO PUBBLICATO IN SETTIMANA SUL FINANCIAL TIME ROGOFF HA FATTO UNA PROPOSTA SORPRENDENTE: ELIMINARE IL CONTANTE.

1)RIDUZIONE CRIMINI E EVASIONI FISCALI
2) PERMETTEREBBE ALLE BANCHE CENTRALI DI ABBASSARE I TASSI DI INTERESSE SOTTO LO ZERO.
in pratica, oggi le banche centrali non possono mettere tassi negativi sui depositi in quanto le persone preleverebbero i loro risparmi detenendoli in cassette di sicurezza, ma se il denaro contante fosse eliminato...le persone sarebbero obbligate a tenere il loro risparmio in banca e subire tassi negativi (ROGOFF SI RIVELA UNA EMERITA TESTA DI CAZZO)
Oppure le persone sarebbero spinte a consumare, spendere i risparmi per non subire tassi negativi...e quindi l'economia ripartirebbe (al pari dell'introduzione di una tassa sulla successione che porterebbe le persone a spendere in vita)
Le persono sarebbero poi spinte a comprare obbligazioni e azioni a piu' non posso...
LA GUERRA AL CONTANTE E' INIZIATA MOLTI ANNI FA...DA PARTE DEI POTERI FORTI E DEI SISTEMI TOTALITARI
NEI PROSSIMI ANNI LE PERSONE DOVRANNO DETENERE PARTE DEI LORO RISPARMI IN QUALCOSA DI DIFFERENTE RISPETTO ALLE VALUTE FIAT...SENZA VALORE..ANZI RAPPRESENTATIVE DI UN DEBITO CHE NON VERRA' MAI PAGATO.
Oro e mettalli preziosi rimangono degli assets importnti da detenere e ovviamente DIAMANTI. (mercato libero ha la possibilita' di far aquistare diamanti importanti da un serio professionista del settore)
Rogoff poi afferma:
“Yes, there are some important
arguments in favour of the status quo. These include a likely loss of
seigniorage revenue – the profit central banks make by printing money –
even if anonymous paper currency is replaced with purportedly anonymous
electronic government currency. Even though central bank “profits” are
turned over to national treasuries, the ability to skim off expenses
without having to beg can help insulate central banks from political
pressures. But the real costs to governments would be much less than the
loss of seigniorage revenues might indicate, because they would gain
revenue by making tax evasion more difficult. There would also be
savings from crime reduction.”
Of course, if governments could
credibly issue an anonymous electronic currency, the problem of the zero
bound would still be solved and central banks could keep pushing their
product. Even if this outcome is feasible, however, it is hardly
desirable. Note that if governments do stop issuing anonymous currency,
then they would probably have to ensure that the private sector did not
proffer a Bitcoin-like substitute. Otherwise, illegal activities would
proceed unabated, and the government would forfeit even the small
inflation tax revenue it gets now.
STA DI FATTO CHE ROGOFF E IL FINANCIAL TIME SONO DA TENERE PRESENTI...COSI' COME I POLITICANTI STANNO FACENDO...
ROGOFF INTRODUCE ANCHE IL BITCOIN E PENSO PROPRIO CHE SIA POCO INTELLIGENTE NON CERCARE DI CAPIRE IL VALORE DI QUESTA NUOVA MONETA.
